lost

Dad,

Your Kawasaki hat I lost last week still hasn't turned up anywhere. I checked work, home, my car, and the last department store I recall wearing it. I doubt I'll see it again, hoping somehow it returned back to you.

I looked over some old photos of you wearing it. You looked really fit compared to me. How did you stay consistent? I'd imagine having clean space helps.. No, I'm not trying to make excuses. I don't care to feel sorry for myself lately.

I want to complete that project by 2030 and I want to get in shape, I'd like to meet a girl who could love me like how mom loved you. I feel stuck and don't know how to proceed. How did you go about kicking life by it's ass? It's so unbearably exhausting to me.

No, I don't mean to complain so much.. But it's nice to be able to. I don't think you ever got a chance to hear it, but I consider you a good father. You were patient, you listened, you gave good advice, you were hardworking, you had a soft side, and you were a slavic powerhouse.

You don't need to approve of me, I know I have a lot of work to do until I get close to your level. I just hope you're not too disappointed watching over me.

From your son, ███
